about

I wrote a traditional carol style holiday song, hope it finds you well!

lyrics

When the first snow falls it rarely ever sticks
But we still know that winter is coming quick

Soon there will be snowflakes and hills to sled upon
Warm houses waiting for when the day is done

The crisp winter air, the stillness of night
The music all around
The warmth of old friends, back from afar
To be with family, oh family…

Though there are troubles, I hope to find some light
Let us help each other to make it through these nights

To those that have passed, I often think of thee
No, you are not here but you’re in my memories

Bittersweet feelings, come with the seasons change
But let there be laughter and comfort all the same

Come in from the cold now, and warm yourself with haste
Sit by the fire, melt that frost away

Grab yourself a cookie, there’s plenty of food to eat,
I’ll make a pot of coffee while you tell me how you’ve been

The crisp winter air, the stillness of night
The music all around
The warmth of old friends, back from afar
To be with family

Though there are troubles, I hope to find some light
Let us help each other to make it through these nights

To those that have passed, I often think of thee
No, you are not here but you’re in my memories

Bittersweet feelings, come with the seasons change
But let there be laughter and comfort all the same
